Plant Trees
Growing trees pull carbon dioxide from the air and use the carbon to build their structure. Almost half of the dry weight of wood is carbon. Trees also provide shade and wildlife habitat.
Many communities have organizations that plant and care for young trees that are looking for volunteers. Your studio could participate in a tree planting event. Your local parks department or county extension agent may know of some groups or projects. The Arbor Day Foundation is another resource on tree planting:
